You’re hiking through red rock canyons, sun warm on your shoulders, the quiet steadying your breath. The next afternoon, you’re soaring across sandstone cliffs, wind in your hair, awe replacing adrenaline. Over four days in the red-rock canyons of Moab, you’ll experience what it means to be fully alive and steady, learning to hold energy without bracing, to move without burning out, and to rest without guilt. This isn’t about escaping your life. It’s about returning to it different.

You won't find jam-packed schedules or get lost in the crowd. Our retreats follow a simple rhythm designed to restore your nervous system, not flood it.
Here is what this retreat will look like:
Arrival + Grounding
The moment you arrive in Moab, the pace shifts. The red cliffs rise, the air is dry and clean, and your system starts to exhale. You’ll settle into the desert lodge, share your first chef-prepared meal, and join a gentle welcome session where we name what’s been held, and what’s ready to be released. This is where the descent begins, from overdrive into openness.
Desert Movement + Stillness Reset
You’ll begin the day hiking through red rock canyons and sandstone arches, the kind of landscape that quiets your mind without trying. After lunch, you’ll have space to rest, explore town, or soak up the sun by the pool, no demands, no expectations. The desert’s rhythm teaches your body what ease feels like again.
The morning begins with somatic breathwork, a release that clears space for what’s next. Later, you’ll climb 1,000 feet above Moab Valley for the Raven’s Rim zipline adventure, six lines and a suspension bridge stretching across sandstone cliffs. It’s not about the adrenaline, it’s about learning that energy can be thrilling and still feel safe. That’s what nervous-system freedom looks like.
Breathwork + Safe Activation
This isn’t restriction, it’s regulation. Nourishment you can feel, prepared by our private chef.
Ritual of Return™
Your final morning anchors the transformation. Over breakfast and guided reflection, you’ll create your personal Ritual of Return™, a simple, embodied way to carry the calm home with you. You’ll leave Moab not lighter from escape, but stronger from integration.

After 20+ years leading in combat zones, disaster relief, corporate boardrooms, and nonprofit leadership, I know what it’s like to hold it all until your body says “no more.” An Army veteran, military spouse, and stepmom, I created True North Resilience after my own collapse from survival-mode leadership. This work is rooted in evidence-based science, lived leadership, and the Six Pillars of Resilience I now teach. As a certified NEUROFIT practitioner, my role isn’t to fix you, it’s to walk beside you as you unbrace, regulate, and rise.

Meet the Team
My background as a Registered Nurse adds another layer of care to the way I holds space, blending knowledge of the body with deep respect for the heart.
Grounded presence. Trauma-informed space-holder. Deep breath in human form.
My work is rooted in the belief that healing begins the moment we pause, breathe, and listen within. I discovered breathwork in a season of deep grief and physical pain, when life felt heavy and uncertain, and it became a way to return home to myself - one breath at a time.
As a certified Conscious Connected Breathwork Facilitator and SUP Yoga Teacher, my experience guiding groups, retreats, and nature-based practices is where my heart lies. Whether leading a breathwork journey on land, floating on the water, or gathering in circle, my intention is always the same - to meet you exactly where you are and walk beside you as you reconnect with your body’s wisdom.

If you need or are seeking counseling or therapy, these retreats are not for that. While these retreats are designed with trauma informed principles and safety at the center, we are not therapists. Participation is always opt-in. No one will be pressured to share, be touched, or perform healing. We respect your story, your privacy, and your boundaries.
Retreat Policies, Safety, and Cancellation
All participants are required to sign a general liability waiver prior to attending. This includes acknowledgement of physical, emotional, or environmental risks associated with adventure-based activities, as well as participation in somatic or nervous system practices. By registering, you agree to complete the required waiver and understand that participation is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk.
Cancellations made 30 days before the retreat start date will incur a 33% cancellation fee based on the total registration cost. After that point, no refunds can be issued due to pre-paid expenses and commitments made on your behalf. If you're unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another approved guest with permission from the retreat hosts. We strongly encourage travel insurance to help protect your plans and investment.
While we are committed to delivering an extraordinary experience, certain circumstances beyond our control, such as severe weather, natural disasters (including wildfires), public health emergencies, or conditions that make specific activities unsafe or impossible, may require changes to the itinerary, delay, or cancellation.
Guests will be offered the choice to transfer their payment to a future retreat date or receive a partial refund, minus any non-recoverable costs already incurred.
If a specific activity is cancelled but the retreat itself proceeds, no refunds will be issued for individual experience changes. Every effort will be made to book a suitable replacement activity.
