Unbracing in the Wild of Winter
A Fire & ICe Reset

Apply Now

You’re on a snowmobile, riding across a frozen landscape. The sky is winter-clear. Your breath meets pine. And for the first time in months…your mind isn’t spinning. Later, you’ll soak in a steaming backcountry hot spring, surrounded by snowdrifts and silence, while your nervous system does something it hasn’t in years: Rest.

PICTURE THIS:

You're not just tired. You're fried.

High performing. Chronically overstimulated. Emotionally armored. Living off adrenaline and caffeine. You’ve done everything right, but your body’s still sounding the alarm. This isn’t wellness. This is regulation through what your system actually craves:
  • Movement without pressure
  • Rest without guilt
  • Space where you don’t have to explain why you’re exhausted

Why You’re Here

but nowI know how to help!

This      for you if:

You’re a high-capacity woman who’s quietly unraveling under the weight of “holding it
all.”

You’re looking for a party weekend, group therapy, or a yoga-heavy wellness escape.

You’ve done all the things - therapy, supplements, meditation - but your nervous system still feels braced.

You prefer quick fixes or motivational fluff over somatic, trauma-informed work.

You’re ready to rebuild your resilience: physically, mentally, emotionally, and somatically.

It's probably        for you if...

You’re unwilling to engage in group safety, consent culture, or body-first boundaries.

The Itinerary

Backcountry + Hot Springs Reset

Friday, January 23

You’ll snowmobile into the Idaho backcountry, a frozen wilderness where the noise stops and breath returns. After lunch by the wood burning stove, you’ll soak in natural hot springs surrounded by snow, letting your body soften into the contrast. This is not adrenaline, it’s awakening. The survival patterns that ruled your week don’t follow you out here.

Arrival + Unbracing

The moment we depart for McCall, the descent begins, from overstimulation to stillness. After a scenic drive, you’ll arrive at the lodge, settle into quiet space, and join a gentle welcome session where we name what’s been held…and what’s ready to be released. You’ll be invited to set a personal intention for what you want to experience, reclaim, or remember over the next three days. No pressure. Just permission.

Thursday, January 22

The final morning is simple and structured. You’ll receive a personalized Ritual of Return™ your 72-hour reentry plan built around your archetype and energy. You’ll leave with tools to keep this reset alive after the retreat, and a body that remembers what regulation actually feels like.

Every activity is optional. Every meal is designed to support you.

This isn’t restriction, it’s regulation. Nourishment you can feel, prepared by our private chef.

Return + Release

Identity, Embodiment + Integration

You’ll begin the day with a guided session to reconnect with your sense of self, not the roles you play, but the truth underneath. We’ll explore self-worth, internal safety, and how to stop outsourcing your value. From there, you drop into full-body restoration: massage, spa access, and a trauma-informed breathwork session to help your nervous system integrate everything it’s releasing.

mEET YOUR
SUPPORT TEAM

After 20+ years leading in combat zones, disaster relief, corporate boardrooms, and nonprofit leadership, I know what it’s like to hold it all until your body says “no more.” An Army veteran, military spouse, and stepmom, I created True North Resilience after my own collapse from survival-mode leadership. This work is rooted in evidence-based science, lived leadership, and the Six Pillars of Resilience I now teach. As a certified NEUROFIT practitioner, my role isn’t to fix you, it’s to walk beside you as you unbrace, regulate, and rise.

Meet the Team

My background as a Registered Nurse adds another layer of care to the way I holds space, blending knowledge of the body with deep respect for the heart.

Grounded presence. Trauma-informed space-holder. Deep breath in human form.

My work is rooted in the belief that healing begins the moment we pause, breathe, and listen within. I discovered breathwork in a season of deep grief and physical pain, when life felt heavy and uncertain, and it became a way to return home to myself - one breath at a time.

As a certified Conscious Connected Breathwork Facilitator and SUP Yoga Teacher, my experience guiding groups, retreats, and nature-based practices is where my heart lies. Whether leading a breathwork journey on land, floating on the water, or gathering in circle, my intention is always the same - to meet you exactly where you are and walk beside you as you reconnect with your body’s wisdom.

I am a self-taught personal chef in McCall, Idaho. I discovered my passion for healthy food after moving to California following my graduation from the University of Idaho. Surrounded by fresh, local ingredients, I quickly embraced clean, whole-food eating and realized a natural talent for flavor combinations, bold presentations, and unique culinary creations.

In 2004, Amy's Whole Food Creations was born, turning my culinary dream into reality. My experience as an executive chef for prestigious wineries and clientele, combined with hands-on training at fine dining restaurants, allows me to deliver customized dining experiences. I am ertified in food safety and preparation, and holding a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Idaho, I also provide nutrition and lifestyle consultations to clients throughout Idaho and across the United States.
