I’m Kelsey Hire, Resilience Strategist, combat veteran, military spouse, and stepmom. For over two decades I’ve led where failure wasn’t an option: combat missions, disaster operations, and teams with lives were on the line. On the outside I was steady, on the inside, I was unraveling. 

Burnout, chronic illness, and trauma stacked up until my body finally forced me to stop. I learned the hard way that pushing harder isn’t resilience, it’s survival. And survival always comes with a cost. It took collapse, recovery, and working my way through my own rebuilding to understand what true resilience really is. 


That reckoning led me to create True North Resilience. It’s the work I wish I’d had in my own seasons of exhaustion. A path that connects the science of the brain, body, and nervous system with the reality of high-functioning humans who are tired of just surviving. My mission is simple: to help you reset your body, reclaim your capacity, and remember who you are when you’re not braced for the next hit.

No. While this work is trauma-informed and based in neuroscience, it’s not therapy or a replacement for clinical care. It’s resilience coaching, focused on nervous system regulation, identity rebuilding, and embodied leadership.
