I’m Kelsey Hire, a combat-tested military leader, trauma-informed strategist, and the founder of True North Resilience.
I’ve spent the last two decades leading in crisis and learning the hard way what real resilience actually takes.

I know what it’s like to hold everything together, to lead, to perform, to keep people safe, while quietly falling apart inside. I’ve led combat missions through war zones. Managed operations during disasters. Directed high-stakes teams with everything on the line. And still…

My body was screaming. My nervous system was in survival mode. My health was crumbling, and I couldn’t explain why. It took burnout, trauma healing, chronic illness, and more than a few personal collapses to realize this:
