Our Commitment to Every Guest: More Than a Retreat. A Responsibility.
When you invest in a retreat, you're doing more than booking a vacation. You're trusting someone with your time, your money, your safety, and an experience you've likely been looking forward to for months. We don't take that lightly.
The retreat industry has grown tremendously over the past few years, and with that growth has come a wide range of experiences. While many companies do incredible work, we've also seen travelers left with canceled trips, poor communication, and uncertainty about what happens when plans change. At True North Resilience, we believe trust begins long before you arrive. It begins with thoughtful planning, clear communication, professional operations, and a commitment to caring for people well.
True North Resilience is a registered Idaho LLC built with long-term sustainability in mind. Every retreat is supported by written agreements, operational systems, vendor coordination, budgeting, logistics, and contingency planning. As both the founder of True North Resilience and an Army Reserve Logistics Officer with more than two decades of leadership experience, I've learned that calm experiences don't happen by accident. They happen because someone planned for what could go wrong before anyone noticed what went right. That philosophy shapes every retreat we host.
Every retreat is covered by business liability and event-specific insurance.
We also partner with reputable lodging providers, licensed outfitters, and experienced local guides who maintain their own professional standards and insurance where applicable. Some activities, such as horseback riding, ATV tours, or whitewater rafting, may require an additional waiver directly through the activity provider.
We also recognize that travel regulations continue to evolve. Where Seller of Travel laws apply, we work with appropriately registered travel professionals to ensure compliance.
